All voters can apply to vote by absentee ballot by completing the MI Absent Voter Ballot Application form either in person at the Vevay Township Office or on line at:

After completely filling out the application, sign, and date the application in the place designated. Your signature must appear on the application, or you will not receive an absent voter ballot. Your signature will be verified against the drivers license signature on file.

Absentee Voter Ballot Application may be returned by mail, email, fax, dropbox, or in person. The application must be received by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before an election if you would like your ballot mailed to you.

Voters can drop off their Absent Voter Ballot Application in person at the Vevay Township Clerk's Office by 4:00 p.m. the Monday before election day and receive a ballot. However, the ballot must be voted in person at the Vevay Township Hall.

In addition to our regular hours of 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, the Clerk's office will be open on the Saturday preceding the election from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

One Absent Voter Ballot Application may serve for the entire election year. However, you may also choose to be on the NEW Permanent BALLOT list by checking the box on the Absent Voter Ballot Application form. By checking the box, you will automatically receive a ballot for ALL future elections until you rescind the request in writing. The ballot will automatically be mailed to your permanent Vevay Township residential address or PO Box unless you contact the Vevay Township Clerk. The USPS will not forward ballots.
